Why is TB-500 banned by WADA?
The World Anti-Doping Agency prohibits it under its general framework covering substances with a potential to enhance performance or aid recovery in ways not otherwise specifically addressed, the same broad category BPC-157 falls under. This is a sport regulation, separate from FDA drug approval status; TB-500 is prohibited in competition even though, unlike many banned substances, FDA's own 2026 review found no published human study of it at all.
