Can BPC-157 cause cancer?

This site's BPC-157 citations do not measure cancer incidence as an outcome. FDA's 2026 evaluation counted five human studies totaling fewer than 110 people: a Croatian Phase 1 enema study, a 53-patient ulcerative colitis enema trial, and three uncontrolled clinic reports. No published study has run longer than two weeks of dosing. Cancer supportive-care mentions on other peptides are not a BPC-157 cancer-cause finding.
