What is BPC-157's half life?

In the only human pharmacokinetic data available, a two person pilot study, plasma levels were consistent with a half life under 30 minutes. That is markedly shorter than the hours to days of biological effect described in the animal literature, a gap FDA's 2026 review noted as unexplained since no specific receptor or molecular target for the peptide has been identified.
