Can ipamorelin cause diarrhea?

This site's ipamorelin citations do not report diarrhea as a measured outcome. The one human study, 117 bowel-resection patients, found intravenous ipamorelin well tolerated and not significantly faster than placebo at a first tolerated meal (25.3 versus 32.6 hours). That trial measured recovery of gut function after surgery, not a diarrhea rate from the peptide itself. The 1998 selectivity paper measured growth-hormone release in animals, not bowels in people. This FAQ does not invent an adverse-event rate the citations do not contain.
