Why do people compare CJC-1295 to tesamorelin?

Both are modified analogues of growth hormone releasing hormone acting on the same pituitary receptor, which is the entire basis for the comparison. The real difference is regulatory and evidentiary: tesamorelin is FDA approved as Egrifta with a trial program covering more than 800 participants for a specific indication, while CJC-1295 has never been approved anywhere and has only two human citations in this site's review, so the comparison is closer than the evidence behind each one is.
