What is sermorelin used for?

Its approved use was diagnosing and treating growth hormone deficiency, confirmed by measuring whether it triggers a normal growth hormone response. Outside that history, it is used off label and in research settings for its effect on the growth hormone and IGF-1 axis, often discussed alongside compounds like ipamorelin and CJC-1295 in body composition research, though sermorelin itself has only one human citation in this site's own review of its evidence.

Educational use only. This database summarizes published research and is not medical advice. Where a dose appears it is a record of what a trial or clinic ran, or what people describe doing, with its source attached. Nothing here is a recommendation for personal use.
