Can ipamorelin cause water retention?

This site's ipamorelin citations do not measure water retention or edema. The one human study, 117 bowel-resection patients, found intravenous ipamorelin well tolerated and not significantly faster than placebo at a first tolerated meal (25.3 versus 32.6 hours). The 1998 paper that defined ipamorelin measured growth-hormone release and selectivity versus cortisol and prolactin in animals, not fluid balance in people.
