Is ipamorelin the same as HGH?
No. Ipamorelin is a secretagogue: it prompts your own pituitary gland to release growth hormone, rather than supplying synthetic growth hormone (somatropin) directly the way an HGH injection does. That distinction matters for how each is regulated and dosed, since a secretagogue's effect is capped by how much growth hormone your pituitary can still produce, while injected HGH raises levels directly regardless of pituitary output.
