The discontinued FDA approved product, Geref, used a 1 microgram per kilogram intravenous test dose for diagnosis and 30 micrograms per kilogram daily for treatment in prepubertal children with growth hormone deficiency. A separate small trial gave 10 healthy older men 1 milligram twice daily for 14 days and restored their growth hormone and IGF-1 to young adult levels. Both are records of what was studied, not a recommendation for you.
