What is GHRP-2?

GHRP-2, also called pralmorelin, is a growth hormone releasing peptide that binds the ghrelin receptor to trigger growth hormone release. It is approved in Japan as a diagnostic agent for growth hormone deficiency but is not FDA approved in the US. Compared with GHRP-6, an older peptide in the same family, it produces strong growth hormone release with less of an effect on appetite.
