What were the side effects in the retatrutide trials?

In the Phase 3 TRIUMPH-1 trial, about 12.5% of participants on the highest, 12 milligram dose reported a sensory disturbance called dysesthesia, an unusual tingling or numb sensation. The earlier Phase 2 trial also reported liver fat improvements as a secondary benefit: 86% of participants on the top dose reached a normal liver fat level on imaging, versus none on placebo, alongside the drug's primary weight loss result.
