Why does retatrutide make you tired?

Retatrutide's Phase 3 trial reported a sensory disturbance called dysesthesia in about 12.5% of participants on its highest dose, alongside the gastrointestinal effects typical of this drug class from slowed digestion. This site's citation review did not find fatigue specifically reported as a primary measured outcome in its trials, so tiredness would fall under general effects of reduced calorie intake and the drug's broader action rather than a distinctly documented finding.
